FAQ

what should I wear? Clothes you don’t mind getting sweaty or wet in. We recommend layering up so you don’t get cold and can remove them as needed.


what should I bring? Towel, change of clothes (there is always a chance you may fall in, so come prepared), light layers to protect from the sun, sunscreen and an open mind. All SUP gear will be supplied: boards, paddles, leashes, PFDs. Wetsuits not included. 


what if it rains? Cancellations due to weather will be up to the teacher's discretion and you will be contacted by email 2 hours prior to the class start time.(please check cancellation policy)

 


cancellation policy: Please provide 24 hour notice for any cancellations.  No refunds will be offered with less than 24 hour notice. 



personal belongings: Please keep all valuables at home or locked in your car. SUP Yoga Halifax will not be responsible for lost or stolen items. 

location: 71 Todd’s Island Road, St. Margaret’s Bay. 

 

 

parking: Please park at the bottom of the road and walk up to 71 Todd’s Island Road. Please DO NOT park on the side of the road in front of the house.

 

do I need to have experience? No experience is required, however its definitely a bonus. Classes are all levels and include instruction and basic skills. Feeling comfortable on/around water is preferred.
 

Please arrive 15 minutes prior to the start of class.
