SUP Yoga Halifax was created to share my passion for the ocean, SUP, and the practice of yoga.
My mission is to encourage people to get out and enjoy nature; to create an opportunity to connect mind, body + spirit through the practice of yoga with the added challenge of the Stand Up Paddleboard.
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) or Hoe he'e nalu in Hawaiian, meaning to stand-to paddle-to surf-wave.
Stand Up Paddleboard yoga involves practicing yoga while on the board. SUP yoga takes your practice off the mat and into nature while providing you with a full body and mind workout.

An avid yogi, paddler, and lover of life, my goal is to bring my love of yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding back to the community I grew up in. I strive to create an inclusive, safe, and fun learning environment, encouraging an environment of growth for my students. I have been teaching yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding in Halifax for the last 10 years.
SUP Yoga Halifax was created in 2015 when I decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and launch SUP Yoga Halifax. I am a registered 200-hr yoga instructor, 30-hr SUP yoga instructor, and an advanced SUP instructor with Paddle Canada. I am also a brand ambassador for Taiga.
