OUR VISION
SUP Yoga Halifax was created to share my passion for the ocean, SUP, and the practice of yoga.
My mission is to encourage people to get out and enjoy nature; to create an opportunity to connect mind, body + spirit through the practice of yoga with the added challenge of the Stand Up Paddleboard.
WHAT'SUP?
Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) or Hoe he'e nalu in Hawaiian, meaning to stand-to paddle-to surf-wave.
Stand Up Paddleboard yoga involves practicing yoga while on the board. SUP yoga takes your practice off the mat and into nature while providing you with a full body and mind workout.

An avid yogi, paddler, and lover of life, my goal is to bring my love of yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding back to the community I grew up in. I strive to create an inclusive, safe, and fun learning environment, encouraging an environment of growth for my students. I have been teaching yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding in Halifax for the last 12 years.
SUP Yoga Halifax was created in 2015 when I decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and launch SUP Yoga Halifax. I am a registered 200-hr yoga instructor, 30-hr SUP yoga instructor, and an advanced SUP instructor with Paddle Canada. I am also a brand ambassador for Taiga.
