OUR VISION

   

 

SUP Yoga Halifax was created to share my passion for the ocean, SUP, and the practice of yoga. 

 

My mission is to encourage people to get out and enjoy nature; to create an opportunity to connect mind, body + spirit through the practice of yoga with the added challenge of the Stand Up Paddleboard.

 

WHAT'SUP?

 

 

 

Stand Up Paddleboarding (SUP) or Hoe he'e nalu in Hawaiian, meaning to stand-to paddle-to surf-wave.

 

Stand Up Paddleboard yoga involves practicing yoga while on the board. SUP takes your practice off the mat and into nature while providing you with a full body and mind workout.

An avid yogi, paddler, and lover of life, my goal is to bring my love of yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding back to the community I grew up in. I have been teaching yoga and Stand Up Paddleboarding in Halifax for the last 10 years.

SUP Yoga Halifax was created in 2015 when I decided to take the leap into entrepreneurship and launch SUP Yoga Halifax. I am a registered 200-hr yoga instructor, 30 hr SUP yoga instructor, an advanced SUP instructor with Paddle Canada, and have my level 1 WPA (World Paddle Association) certification. I am also a brand ambassador for Bluwave SUP.
